HTC Desire 820G+ Dual SIM Launched in Taiwan
HTC has launched its new phone in Taiwan which has been branded as Desire 820G+. It is a dual SIM phone, featuring a 5.5 inch, 720p resolution HD screen. The company has not made it clear yet as to when will they launch the phone outside Taiwan. The phone is priced at approximately $200.00.
The phone runs on the 4.4-Android KitKat operating system platform and comes with front and rear cameras. The front camera is capable of taking 8-megapixel photos while the rear camera can take 13-megapixel pictures. This means that the camera specs are exactly the same as that of HTC Desire 820. The phone operates on an octa-core processor powered by a clock speed of 1.7 GHz. The processing is further backed by a RAM of 1 GB.
Although the phone comes with an internal storage of 16 GB, the users can expand it with the help of a microSD card slot to up to 32 GB. The phone offers multiple connectivity options including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, and GPRS/EDGE. This device also features Micro-USB connectivity and GPS capabilities. Unfortunately, the phone does not have the support for 4G connectivity.
HTC Desire 820G+ boasts of a powerful 2600mAh battery which is capable of over 500 hours of standby and nearly 12 hours of talk time. Although big in size, the phone is pretty lightweight, measuring nearly 150 grams.
Along with 820G+, the company also launched another phone named as 626G+. This phone features almost the same specs as 820G+ but has a smaller screen size. Also, its front camera is 5 MP as compared to 8 MP of 820G+
